Tips for making use of signature tealight candles

Many people are drawn to tealight candles due to the fact that they are cute, small, and easy to store. However, in times of emergencies when you need them for lighting or times when you are looking for decoration or a pleasant aroma, it is unlikely you look over tealight candles because their size makes them seem inferior. However, there are plenty of ways that you can make use of those cute tealight candles making it quite practical to consider investing in them. Here are just a few of the best tips for making full use out of any tealight candles that you may have your eyes on.

One reason that tealight candles are a great purchase is due to the fact that they make the perfect sample of any type of candle. For example, if you want to try out some new candle scents to see how strong they are or if you enjoy the scent around your home, tealight candles are a great low cost way to experiment with different candles. After trying out the smaller version, you will be able to make a better choice when it comes to which larger candle you should spend some money on.

Another great reason to consider buying tealight candles is due to the fact that they can be used if you want to burn oil. Simply take oil and pour it into a ceramic bowl with a little water. Light the small tealight candle underneath and you will have the perfect amount of heat to spread the oil aromatherapy throughout the room.

Finally, if these ideas are not enough for you, then you may want to consider placing tealight candles around your home in glass candle holders, decorative dishes, or in small fountain paperweight that can sit on your desk. This way you can light the candles and enjoy watching the flames lick the sides of the beveled glass illuminating the room softly while helping you relax. With this many ideas, you may never look at tealights in quite the same fashion again.

Add enchanted lighting via floating candles

Lighting is one of the simplest and cheapest ways of making both indoor and outdoor spaces enchanting with little effort. This is because casting light in the perfect manner can create ambience, spark, and even a bit of fun depending on what type of event you are attempting to add a little spice to. One perfect vehicle for accomplishing this perfect type of ambience is floating candles.

Floating candles have the ability to be used for many occasions from wedding centerpieces, to baby shower decorations, to table centerpieces in general at an open casual party to simple use on a pool or on the patio. The method in which you choose to display them simply depends on the mood you are aiming to create; here are just a few examples.

As a centerpiece floating candles are a great way to create an eye catching effect. All you need to do is take a clear vase of glass bowl and the candles clearly catch people’s eyes. For an even strong enhanced effect add some crystals, stones, and shells. Of course, you can just allow them to float in water or add a mirror under the vase in order to add an extra effect.

If you have a pool and are planning on some early spring or late fall parties, you may consider using your pool for decoration since swimming is out of season. Before you put any floating candles into the pool, make sure that you turn off any waterfalls or other areas they may drift under and of course turn the filter off. The shine of the candles off the water will bring an incomparable look to your outside patio area.

Finally, if you want a quick casual way to spice up an outdoor party and you do not have a pool or some vases lying around consider grabbing some shells from a party store and set them around your porch or patio along sand so they stay in place. Add a floating effect and you will have a simple beach atmosphere without spending much or putting forth too much effort.

Candles - Making a Memory Last Forever

Have you suddenly found yourself in a position where you have the responsibility of organizing an important party? Perhaps you're having an engagement party, or you're throwing a 21st birthday party for one of your kids? No matter what the special occasion is, you'd be surprised at how much difference candles can make. Sure, you will need to spend a bit of money, but if it means your guests will remember the event for many years to come, then it will have been money well spent.

The first thing you'll need to do is decide what types of candles will be best suited to the occasion. For example, you could have a couple of large, scented pillar candles standing near the entrance to the venue so that guests arriving are immediately greeted by a wonderful scent.

When it comes to choosing candles for the tables, your options are virtually endless. From realistic looking cup-cake candles, to life-like ice-cream candles, you'll certainly have no difficulty impressing your guests. Of course, if you're laying on a buffet you can really go to town. You can get your guests tripping over their own feet as they scramble for those breads and crackers, simply by burning a unique "bakery scented" candle nearby. Alternatively, light a "berry scented" or "fruit scented" candle near the desserts, and watch how your guests respond to the wonderful aroma.

Now, once you've eventually managed to make up your mind regarding the different styles of candles you want, you'll then have to decide sort of candles you prefer. For example, do you want paraffin wax candles, do you want soy wax candles, or would you rather have gel candles? Of course, if gel candles are your favorite, you may not be able to get certain designs, although they are available in all the different scents. Although gel candles have become immensely popular, soy wax candles are catching up fast as more and more people steer away from paraffin wax candles. The biggest advantage of paraffin wax candles is that they are the cheapest candles to make, and as a result, they're also the most economical candles to buy.

No matter what sort of candles you choose, you can be sure that you'll only be limited by your own imagination because there really is so much to choose from.

We can burn aromatherapy scented candles in the bathroom for a relaxing bath, citrus scented candles to lend the home a smell of freshness, coffee scented candles on the dinner table to arouse the appetite, bakery scented candles in the kitchen for that country cottage feeling, or herbal scented candles in the bedroom to match any mood we're in.

There are also some beautiful candles that are ideal for setting the mood while you're out in the garden. For example, one or two floating candles can instantly transform your outdoor pond. Alternatively, going for a quite dip in your pool at night when it's ablaze with floating candles bobbing about, and flickering in a gentle breeze, makes for an unforgettable experience.

Also, if you really want to attract attention to your party organizing skills, then why not do so with candles. Burning candles on the tables that look like a real-life cocktails, complete with glasses and trimmings, is bound grab people's attention. Alternatively, Jell O Bowl candles made from gel wax also make for a great conversation piece. Just make sure you light them though, or else you could have the kids trying to tuck in, especially if they're scented accordingly.
